He was such an incredible addition to the family.
I was alway excited to see him when I would come home
from Winona.
He quickly became a great hunting dog and was a very
fast learner. We took many treks through the Tamarack
National Wildlife Refuge together and he would always be
sitting by the truck ready to go. Somehow he just knew.
Jake always had a soft spot for our cat Jasmine, although I'm
convinced that she used to beat him up when no one was looking.
Jake was continually looking for attention and would always
nudge his head underneath your hand to get some extra petting
time in. He was a big softy but could act pretty tough when it
came to protecting the house. He will be irreplaceable.
